Honest Review Of Dish Network
The Dish Network Review you are about to read will help you decide, one way or the other, if DISH is for you.
The problem with most dish network reviews is that the people doing the review are not honest because they want you to buy your DISH service from them. Another problem is that a lot of so called reviews are not really reviews at all. They are simply a bunch of the same DISH garble you see on every other site out there.
You have to admit, finding a good quality DishNetwork review is not easy at all. So to help you end your frustration I'm going to give you an honest review of Dish Network.
The first point I want to make is price. The only thing that beats DishNetwork on price is rabbit ears. DIRECTV costs much less than cable, but DISH is usually at least $10 lower in price no matter which programming levels you choose. Dish network simply beats the pants off the competition when it comes to price.
Dish Family starts at $19.95 per month and you can add $6 if you want a DVR and about $5 if you want local channels. Note: You can save yourself that $5 per month, for local channels, if you get them to install a dish antenna that fits around the outside of your dish. The local channels will not be as clear as the ones you get with DISH. However, if you don't watch local channels that much, you can save yourself $60 per year.
The next point I want to make is customer service. DISHNetwork is always at the top of the list when it comes to customer service. You can check out the J.D. Power website and you will see that Dish Network's customer service is at the top. Cable customer service scores have always been horrible until this year. A few of the really big ones are starting to improve.
The most popular package with Dish Network is America's Top 100. If you can't find something to watch on this you probably are watching too much TV. But, for those avid couch potatoes there are all the way up to 250 channels.
The DVR is awesome and people that have had a DVR can't live without one. The DISH DVR doesn't have quite as fancy of an interface as TiVo, but who buys a TV to look at the program interface. The point is a DVR is great, but I don't think a minor DVR difference would stop me from getting their service.
There is one thing, with some guys, that I need to mention about DISH. If you are a NFL fan and can't live without NFL Sunday Ticket, you will have to get it from DIRECTV. Last I heard it was about $270 per year and it's great if you don't mind shelling out the bucks. Just remember that Dish Network has ample NFL stuff, but for some hardcore NFL fans it's just not enough.
I hope this will help you make the right decision while choosing your satellite TV. This concludes my DISH Network review!
